About Me

I’m Matt, founder of Recovery2Resilience.After two decades of addiction, I’ve spent the last six years rebuilding my life—through therapy, mindset work, and consistent action. That journey led me to become a Counsellor, Personal Trainer, and Mindset Coach.I bring a unique perspective—professional training combined with real lived experience. My approach is straightforward, practical strategies to support emotional regulation, shift mindset patterns, and rebuild confidence.My mission is to help you build a more resilient version of yourself—mentally and emotionally through grounded support tailored to where you are right now.

As an active person in my 60s who regularly exercises, it was a struggle when two accidents in the last 2 years sharply reduced my activities and had a knock-on impact to my mental wellbeing.
